If a community is what absolutely determines the nature of humans, then the drive that allows the community to be preserved will be most forcefully developed in them.

A Reaction

Nietzsche was a loner, who despised 'the herd' and its dull 'good and evil', but humans are obviously social creatures, who need to raise families, so it seems perverse to despise the values this requires. Note the Marxist view of human nature.
